Cawit is a shoreline Barangay. It's neighboring Barangays are Maasin (east), Tulungatung (north) and Recodo (west). If you are driving on the highway to Cawit you will first come through Maasin and then you will see the welcome sign of the Cawit Barangay. While still in Cawit you will see the Baradero de Recodo to the left. Makes you wonder why they call it Baradero de Recodo when in fact it is in Cawit. The Baradero is where most of the ship repairs are done here in Zamboanga City.
