Zamboanga.com started in 1997 as a website about the city of Zamboanga. We are still one of the most comprehensive websites about zamboanga. Even wikipedia and the local government quotes the researches that we have made about zamboanga.

In 2009 we decided to implement the "zamboanga wiki". It started as an interactive site about the city and its 98 barangays. It was quite a success so we expanded the wiki to cover the entire zamboanga peninsula which included Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga del Sur, and Zamboanga Sibugay. That also went very well.

So in 2010 we embarked on a project to cover the entire Philippines. We took on the Phrase: "Zamboanga: Portal to the Philippines" because we started to create a webpage for every single barangay in the Philippines, all 42,027 of them.

Recently, June of 2012, zamboanga.com again improved itself by offering the world and the people of zamboanga and the Philippines the opportunity to utilize our site to post classified ads for free.
