We recommend this endemic passerine bird to be named the official bird of Zamboanga City, and bestowed legalized city  protection, with introduction of a special cultivation program in the watershed preserve to help  remove it from the world's near-threatened bird species.

Invest in Zamboanga City!!! No matter how much or how long Manila-centric Press and nay Sayers try to label Zamboanga City as a "security problem" area, the people who actually control the investment monies keep showing up at the doorsteps of the only Latin City in Asia and laying down their investments, making the Zamboanga area the #1 growth area in the entire country!!!  Like Forrest Gump's Momma used to tell him: "Stupid is as stupid does!"  If Zamboanga is so bad according to Manila and it is the #1 growth area in the Philippines in spite, or as a result, of their constant wailings, what or where does that leave Manila, Forrest?  Answer us... you stupid or something? The Early History of Chavacano de Zamboanga (1635 - 1718) - June 23, 1635 should be symbolically known as “Dia del Chavacano de Zamboanga.”  Why you might ask? This was the day that a permanent foothold was laid on Zamboanga by the Spanish government with the construction of the San José Fort, and the subsequent evolution and proliferation of a unique dialect/language based on ancient Creole Spanish that is called Chavacano de Zamboanga. This is our history, this is our culture… >>>Continue Reading>>>

The Middle History of Chavacano de Zamboanga (1718 - 1899)  - The year 1718 introduced a new wave of immigrants into the now thriving town of Zamboanga - the only Chavacano established community of its kind in this important Peninsula of Mindanao Island. The increasing concern of the hostilities from the Moro pirates against the Chavacanos here led the Jesuit priests to petition the Archbishop and Governor-General Bustamante for the renewed presence of Spanish troops in Zamboanga. They also requested help in rebuilding the abandoned San Jose Fort, which was systematically destroyed over time by the Moro pirates in their show of despise against the symbol of Spanish occupation. >>> Continue Reading >>>

#1. Support your constituents in their drive to keep the area's regional center in Zamboanga City by passing new legislation in Congress to make it so, or support one if it is already existing.  If it exists but is not current in the floor's discussion, then make it your priority to do so!  Your job is to help Zamboanga City and this is the biggest issue now that requires your attention.  Gracias.

Executive Order (E.O.) #429:  It's supposed to be the Philippines' Presidential Order for the transfer of the regional center, Region IX, from Zamboanga City to Zamboanga del Sur's Pagadian City.  Right?  Maybe?  Dughhhh... We really love Forrest Gump's saying: "Stupid is as Stupid does!"

Therefore, we asked:  Where is this E.O. #429?  Answer: IT DOES NOT EXIST !

What exactly is going on with this Regional Office HQ transfer to Zambo del Sur?  ...More later!

The truth is finally exposed by us - PGMA is forced to make HER/Their decision!

Malacañang steals IRA money from Zamboanga City for past 20 years and gives it to Zambo del Sur, and then cahoots with them to transfer Regional Office HQ from Zamboanga City to Pagadian City/Zambo del Sur courtesy of PGMA&Co.  The Zamboanga City IRA funds worth over 500 million pesos were given to ZdelSur to help them qualify to accept PGMA&Co.'s hatred of ZC and the Zamboangueños.  Not to worry... Zamboangueños are far above PGMA&Co.'s hatred towards them, but they are not stupid, eh Forrest!  We shall overcome, as we have always done!

Now, it's Zamboangueños' turn to be truthful to PGMA&Co. and tell them to get out of Zamboanga City because they are not needed here!!!  Their presence in the peaceful city makes it a continuous target of terrorism - even military bombings!  Malacañang must remove its entire military base and personnel out of Zamboanga City and put it in Basilan or Sulu province, where it belongs!  The local blood that was shed under martial law is still present in the foundation of Malacañang's continued military presence and hatred in Zamboanga City!  Leave us alone!  Your bloody language was never welcome here, and your hatred cost us a great Mayor's assassination!

Come Hell or High Water, Zamboanga City Will Prosper!!!
