Bike Welding

Welding is not an easy job. It takes skill and attention to safety. Welding bicycle parts takes a lot of patience and precision because you are dealing with expensive metal and small connecting parts.

  • There are two types of Welding equipment:
    1. Gas - Two types of gas are used: Oxygen and Acetylene. You basically have tanks and hoses to deal with. However, you can accomplish a lot with gas welding or "brazing". There's a plus to owning this type of equipment, you can cut metal with ease.
    2. Electric - Most welders like to deal with electric welding because it's easier to set up and for energy, you only need electricity.
