Old Public Market - Magay Why isn't the city doing anything to improve this working engine of zamboanga's economy? The main headquarters of the Police is located across the street from this old Public Market. Yet the security here is so bad that "pickpoketers" make their living here. The areas for business closest to the breakwater are totally un-monitored. Vendors throw their trash everywhere. "Big brother is going to come by and cleanup later anyway" is the attitude. What is the city Administrator doing? |

Cawa-Cawa Blvd. - Cawa-Cawa Beach It is beautiful only 25% of the time. There is extreme lack of maintenance! Why is the city ignoring this spot where you can view the beautiful sunset? On any given weekend, there are more people having fun swimming, having a picnic, or just enjoying walking along the boulevard by the breakwater, than in any other place within the 5 kilometer radius of city hall. Cawa-Cawa Beach is one of the most populated beaches on weekends in Zamboanga City. Yet the city continues to ignore this fact. |
