POLICE operatives have arrested one of the most wanted persons in a law enforcement operation in the province of Zamboanga del Norte, an official said Saturday, February 10.

Chief Inspector Helen Galvez, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula information officer, identified the arrested wanted person as Benerando Eca, 35.

Galvez said Eca has standing warrants of arrest for multiple attempted homicide and double attempted homicide issued by the Court in Dipolog City.

She said Eca is the number seven most wanted person in the town of Piñan, Zamboanga del Norte.

She said Eca was arrested at 5:50 p.m. Thursday in the village of Desin, Piñan town.

Eca is detained in Piñan police headquarters for proper disposition, she said.
