History of Zeta Rho
In 1973 Lady Jessica Sumergido of Beta Nu Chapter Ateneo de Zamboanga, with another brother, founded Zeta Rho.
Zeta Rho was recognized as an official chapter on December 3, 1983 at 7:30pm at the Cabatangan, Zamboanga City (RHTC) during the national executive meeting of the following Lords and Lady:
- Lord Noli Ruiz: Epsilon Phi Chapter, Andres Bonifacio, Dipolog City
- Lord Zosimo Soriano: Beta Theta Chapter, Southern Mindanao, Tabakan, South Cotabato
- Lord Noel Gacutan: Gamma Gamma Chapter, Misamis University, Ozamis City
- Lady Jessica Sumergido: Beta Nu 1973 Chapter, Ateneo de Zamboanga, Zamboanga City
Zeta Rho went on to become the first Greek letter fraternity/sorority to be recognized by WMSU.
