CEBU CITY (PNA) -- The Cebu Provincial Tourism Office has set the first of the local tour “Suroy-Suroy Sugbo” (Visit Cebu) series this year as an escapade to Camotes on April 22 to 24.

Cebu Provincial Tourism Officer Grace Paulino said Suroy-Suroy Sugbo Camotes escapade will take guests to the municipalities of Poro, San Francisco and Tudela.

Paulino said guests will travel to Camotes by fastcraft, which is quicker and more convenient for travelers, cutting down travel time by an hour.

By fastcraft, the first stop would be Boho Rock resort for guests to experience and feel the sea breeze.

From there, one could see the beauty of Poro. Then it would be off to the famous Lake Danao and Santiago beach resort in San Francisco.

Another first for the upcoming Suroy-Suroy Sugbo is the Sunrise Cruise the management of Lake Danao is offering, but it is optional to guests because only two boats are available which can only accommodate 50 persons.

The lake hosts several bird and duck species.

The Suroy-Suroy Sugbo will include a visit to the Bukilat Cave and Busay Falls in Tudela.

Aside from the tours, the Cebu Provincial Tourism Office also lined up themed dinners that come with games and prizes from sponsors, all designed to forge new friendships among strangers.
